I was going down the interstate and I lost the hinge pin on one side of the mud flap. It's the pin that is between the halves of the hinge so it pivots. 2006 Intrigue 530. I've looked at other mud flaps on different brands and most of them hang by chains. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement hinge pin?

If you use a bolt & nut make sure the bolt is Grade 8 (harder than the std hardware bolt)and the nut is a "shakeproof" nut (one with a Nylok insert in it or a triangular upset so the nut doesn't spin freely. A shoulder bolt would be a better application if you can get a Grade 8
Personally I would change the setup to use the type of chainlink that has a threaded portion for assembly purposes. Four required--two per side.
Thanks. I had thought of the grade 8 bolt but not of the nylon insert. I'm pretty sure that Home Depot wouldn't have that but might be a good place to start - maybe they would have an idea who would. Thanks to both of you for your reply. I really appreciate it.
I'm not that familiar with bolt hardness. I figured it needed to be grade 8 because of the back and forth movement of the hinge. A softer bolt would wear quicker wouldn't it?
