Our hurricane heat controls on our Affinity work like this.

1. Turn on all three blower fans.
2. Thermostate has the word "furnace" in zones one and three all the time, not just when the central heat and exchangers switches are on.
3. Turn on central heat control and exchanges switches. My switches are in the bedroom on a control panel on the back wall just below the doors of the hanging closet.

Took me a while to figure out all the buttons and switches. A long while. It was my third year with the coach when I figured out how to turn on the back over the road AC.

I have a old 1987 cc ltd 40 and my hydroponic heating control is in the bedroom behind 2 little doors beside the cabinet. Along with the heat control is another generator start switch and tv amplifier. Hope this helps. Good luck.
