Question Need motor for fantastic vent lid

Motor failed that raises and lowers the lid on the fantastic vent in our galley. Where can I get a new or used replacement, preferably with cover for same?

Google searches point to motors with added knob for manual or electric operation (Atwood K6050-80). Picture suggests this is not a direct replacement because there appears to be no clearance for the screen. Please advise if anyone has used this part as a replacement.

Thanks in advance for your help.

By any chance , do you know if your Fantastic vent was original to your coach or an add on over the years ?
There were some changes in the last 5 or so years in the design, both of the motor mount and the screen, making the screen easier to remove for cleaning.
I've had to install a complete fan for a friend with a 99RV, due to lack of parts availability , circuit board issues.

Call Fantastic customer service at 1-800-521-0298; they likely will send you the new parts for free.

Have you verified voltage at the motor?

You could have a problem with the switch that is mounted about center front. It is pushed in by the cover and sometimes it gets rusty and won't make a connection. If it doesn't make the connection, the motor will not run.

Yes. There is voltage at the motor connection wires and the motor does not run when connected to a battery with test cables.

By golly, you do have a bad motor so a call to Fantastic Fan is in order

For my Intrigue I needed a new rain sensor and called the number for Fantastic. They said it was integrated with the control board and motor and would send me the complete unit if I would pay the shipping! no problem. Came with complete instructions and I kept some of the older parts for spares.
