Smile New Owner of 2004 Davinci

Hi Everyone, I am the proud owner of a 2004 Davinci I just purchased. I have been lurking on this site for about a year before we found the right coach for us. I hope to have many great trips ahead of us.

One question, as the coach is not accessible to us for a week, and I need this for the registration form, does anyone know, the unladen weight of the motor home. I called Country Coach and they said they do not have the information and it is not on the title document. I was hoping someone could check the placard that should be behind the vanity mirror and post the information.

Thanks

Is that an Allure, Intrigue, Magna, Affinity, or what? That is what we need to know. The Davinci tells us about the interior.

Welcome to the world of Country Coach.
What did you get a Cat or Cummins and how may miles are on it. keep an eye on the Not-So-Cold frig. I replaced mine last year. Did you get service records on it. They are a great ride. Hope you get many miles out of it.

This gives the Gross Vehicle Weight, but I have not found anything in the literature on what the unladen weight is. But thanks for the link, it gives a nice summary of the options that were available.

I believe I have the Cummins l6 8.3 liter turbo diesel. Not much in service records. Just the current owners, and they only had it for a little while.

Do you have the documentation that originally came with the coach? There should have been a couple of binders and a box full of manuals, etc. In that box, there should be a weight slip that will give you 4 corner weights. CC ran each coach on the scales at the factory and that documentation was part of the data package. Also there should be a sheet somewhere in the coach with all installed equipment and with it another one with motorhome weight information. I have no idea where your sheet may be, mine is on the inside of the medicine cabinet. Some are installed in the closet

Our Magna has a chart on the inside of the lavatory medicine cabinet. Unfortunately I believe the OP states he does not have access to the coach yet.

Congrats on the new to you rig - enjoy!!!

A 40' Two Slide Allure with Tag, is just under 32.2K lbs. So I would think the Inspire with non Tag, and you said 8.3 vs 8.9 Cummins in ours - would be between 30-31K Lbs.

If another Inspire owner does not see this request here, try popping into the Yahoo CC User Group and posting the question. A bit more CC volume!

Last thought, can you call whomever has he coach, and ask them to check the label in the bathroom mirror door for you?

Best of luck, have fun
Smitty
