In the process of completing purchase of 2000 Country Coach Allure single slide with 330 cummins engine boosted to 350hp. (36K miles) I have already learned a lot of great information from this site today. If there are any others out there with this model motorhome that have recommendations or recall information please respond. I am already interested in solar power to go off the grid. I also need to tow a toad and my GL 1800 motorcycle and wifes scooter. I am thinking the best way will be with a car hauler trailer at this time. Anybody have advice or experience with this type of set up. I'm hoping to fit it all on a 24ft trailer but may have to go to a 27ft depending on toad make.

Great site great information here!

Welcome to the Forum, and welcome to CC ownership. I am unsure if the wet/dry PTO problem affects your coach or not. If you call CC with the VIN number they might be able to tell you if any recalls were completed or not.

As I said, the 2000 Allure doesn't have a PTO

I know this one has a hydraulic operated fan. Just not sure where the pump is located. So far I've learned if its off the engine then no worries. If on the trans then remove and grease the splines once a year if still serviceable. I'm buying this coach sight unseen. Had my brother check it out for me. Won't see it myself for at least another month. I'm glad to hear it probably isn't a pto model. Thanks for info!
