Newbie: CC Inspire improvements, 2005-2008?

After MUCH research, we are looking seriously at buying a CC Inspire, 36'-38', quad coach. GIVEN SIMILAR mileage, maintenance, condition etc: would anyone offer to point out features of the later years, (2007-2008) for example, over the earlier years (2005-2006) that you feel would entice one to pay the higher price? Also, any suggestions on what to look for specifically in a previously owned CC coach would be much appreciated. (I am aware of the website for maintenance and parts for the CC motorhomes.)
Thanks much in advance.
Ken

I wouldn't worry about the emission motors as that didn't come into effect until '07. Most likely even an '08 would have a motor built in '07 or possible '06 and would not have the equipment. Look at them all and pick one that fits you.

I had a 2005 Inspire and we loved it. We have since updated to an 08 Intrigue and are very pleased with it.
Damon Repozo has a web site with a link to Model History that maybe of interest to you. Inspire Motorhomes, Inspire RVs offered by Damon Rapozo
Hope this helps,

2007 and newer has hydro-hot. 2006 and earlier has a 10 gallon water heater. Also some of the newer Inspires had the option of Cat or Cummins 425hp where as the '06 has a 400 Cat.

I read somewhere that 2007 and newer incorporated fiber optic cable in some of the wiring harnesses.

Ken
We just purchased a 2006 CC Inspire. 38,000 miles, Excellent Condition,
400 h.p. Cat. We live in in So Calif. and I did not want Hydro Hot. I am very happy with the two floor furnaces and 10 gallon water heater. I did not want a residential refrigerator because most of my days are not plugged into shore power. I had no need for the 2nd slide in the bedroom so Ours have 3 slides. Our previous HR had a washer/dryer that we only used once or twice. There were two identical coaches in Junction City and I chose the one without the washer/dryer to use the space as a closet. There were many other bells and whistles that I didnt get because I don't need them and wanted to minimize the maintenance/repairs.
I got the Quality Construction & Look interior and exterior, 400 h.p. and the Dynamax Ride that I was looking for at an affordable price.
If you would like anymore information or have any questions, please give me a call @ 951 236-7645.
Good Luck!

So . . . most on this forum would agree that given similar mileage, maintenance, condition and price, then if we wanted a washer/dryer combo and a 2005 Inspire had it and a 2008 did not, we should buy the older one??

Most coaches have W/D in them. I would be looking at the radiator if it has been updated to the steel & copper and if it has had the wet PTO installed and the year of the tires even batteries. These are the big dollar things to think about. Radiator close the $6000 wet PTO close to $1000 tires and batteries $4500. Mine came with the updated radiator and new batteries but I had to do the tires $4200 and wet PTO $900. We did the switch and ditched the Not-So-Cold frig installed the Samsung 197 and switched out the inverter to the Magnum 2812. They are kind of a money pit tell you get them where you want them

2 stroker - I was being a little facetious about the W/D. My point was that there had been little direction for us from the forum about significant improvements from 2005 to 2008.
So . . . perhaps we should conclude something very simple can make the choice for us.
Your suggestions are very helpful, then, you see.
