No Rock Guard on my 2008 Inspire

Folks, I just bought a 2008 Inspire 360 and it doesn't have a rock guard, or whatever it is called in the back. I called Winnebago and the parts guy told me to sit down...$1300 plus huge expense to ship to VA. Has anyone bought one? Looks like it would be simple to install, brackets are there.

You don't need one. I think they throw more rocks at your toad, than running without one.
You do have standard mud flaps behind your rear tires?

Yes. Stock mudflaps behind tires. I am afraid our Lincoln MKX we just modified to tow is going to get pounded when we hit the road...not so?

Check duraflap.com. You can even get customized message for a lot less than $1300!

I've towed my wife's new car about 8,000mi without any chips. Obviously drive very slow on gravel.
