Oil on inner dual

While installing my trucenter yesterday noticed oil on my inside rear dual. Smells like differential fluid. Guessing axel seal. Can't fix this on my own needs to go to shop. Anyone have one done and the cost? I'm guessing three hours of labor plus parts. $400.00

I had the outside rear on passenger side done at $280 at an independent truck repair garage. (North Georgia)

Mike,

Shouldn't be too bad unless the axle lube also go on the brake shoes. If so there is no cleaning them, they'll have to be replaced.

Just made a appointment for next Tuesday at 7am. to repair. I'm a little scared this is the first time sence we started rving(20 years)that I have had to bring one in for service other than tires and front end alignment. I purchased this rv last year with no service records so I changed all filters, oil and swithched to transyand tranny fluid. While there I'm going to have them change air dryer, adjust slack adjusters, lube chassis and check front end for any worn or lose parts.
