Paint colors and brand of paints used on 05' inspire

Does anyone know the brand of paint used in 2005 on country coach inspires? I bought the coach from Guaranty RV, but they don't have the color listed. it is the very common beige. I am touching up a few scratches and want to be certain it is correct. I know the information is online somewhere, but I can't seem to locate it. Thank you. Jerry

Hi Jerry,

Just some general info on CC paint. The paint used on my Affinity is Sikkens brand. The paint colors and paint codes are listed in the owners material I received with the coach.
But, when I took it to the body shop for a touch up, they mixed exact color matches for the paint and didn't use the existing paint codes. So, If nothing else, call Country Coach, and I will bet they will be able to help on paint type and color, or just run down to your favorite body shop, and ask they to match the color, and mix you some.

Luck,
Bob

You should have received a box of manuals with the coach. The paint codes are listed on the inside of the lid. Otherwise take either the water heater cover or the refer cover(which ever has the color you want to match) down to your local paint store for a match

thank you. I am having the paint store "shoot" the color now on MH, this way it will match what is there after 7 years of use. Appreciate the help. I had a new slide built by the new Country Coach in Eugene, but although they painted the new bedroom slide just last year somehow they didn't find it in their system...

Paint codes will work at the branded auto paint suppy (ie. Sikkens) but computer match and the eyeball match is the way a non-Sikkens supplier will try to match the paint. I am in the process and on my third test batch with no close match yet.

They tell me that color matching is not precise (I have a 17 yr old rig). But the usual process is to get close and repaint an entire panel trying to "blend" the edges with new and existing paint.

The codes were not in my book, so we called CC, paid the $20 and got the Sikkens codes. But they were not a match(not even close), so the body shop had a rep from PPG come out with a special camera and it gave the formula for a match. It is not perfect, but really close.

Thanks to all. Today we pick up the coach with some minor scratches fixed. I know the colors will be good, the automotive paint store in Medford "shot" the colors. Really nice that everyone gave their input!
