Pioneer AVIC 140 Question

When my coach and chassis batteries died at the RV shop doing my carpet replacement, my Pioneer AVIC apparently rebooted to factory default settings.

I have a portable Sirius radio that I connect to the external input of the AVIC. It has always worked fine. However, today I just could not remember what function I must use to make it play thru the Pioneer. I've tried AV1, AV2, and nothing. That is what I seem to remember using before.

Can anyone with one of these things give me an idea. The manual is nearly 300 pages and I don't find any instructions for this particular function.

I have never hooked up anything to my radio but mine has an AUX you select for auxiliary input. I would think yours may as well. If so I would recommend trying this position and see if it doesn't fix the problem. I know mos radios use the position for input from an auxiliary device.

Pioneer AVIC 140 Question

Sometimes the "AV1" or "AV2" inputs need to be configured. A quick look at page 178 of the online manual for AVIC Z140BH shows how to configure.

Not sure if your portable satellite is RCA jack connected or if you have a pioneer satellite module that connects via the "blue" pioneer interface cable.
