Pioneer GPS 2005 cc Magna

Hi everyone,

I have the pioneer gps model. AVIC 90dvd in my 2005 CC Magna it runs all the time and is very load for something that small , I have spoken to CC and they said it supposed to run like that . can anyone confirm this or is there an issue and can or is there a replacement ?? I am not very impressed with it !

Gps navigation!!

I see there are several CC Magna owner regularly Posting can some one chime in on what there units have for Gps Navigation systems ,I am having issues with mine.

Ours is a Kenwood as far as I can tell. I think the GPS part is a Garman. It hasn't been upgraded since the 2008 maps so I can't help the OP

I have the same unit and you can hear it running. I can't say it's loud but it does run all the time. I don't use the GPS because I refuse to pay for a DVD when I have my cell phone and a Garmin that has free upgrades. I only use the unit for the cameras.
For what it's worth, that unit and the one in the bedroom run all the time. I have to push the buttons to eject the face plate to shut them off.

Yes so it is true ! I have something else going on now when I shift to reverse the backup camera goes out ? Is there a flip screen option ? Camera works and looks fine when parked !???
