Pioneer Head Unit w/ Back-up camera monitor

My Intrigue uses the Pioneer P6400 head unit and when the color monitor flips over to show back-up camera, the screen goes black. Two days later, the thing was back on, but only for a minute and then blacked out. I want to replace this incredibly bad designed technology anyway.

Has anybody replaced the factory pioneer unit with an upgrade?

What are the chances I can use the same wire/feed from back-up camera?

Thanks,

Dan

I had similar problems with mine and I replaced it with a newer version of a Pioneer unit. Just plugged right in on the most part!

We own a 2003 Intrigue and went through the same thing . Just do yourself a favor and find a reputable car audio store and talk to them. We live outside Columbus Ohio and I took it to Columbus Car Audio and let them upgrade . Now I have a modern stereo blue tooth ready and a back up camera that I can actually get an awesome picture. I love my Country Coach but I hated that flip up Pioneer
