Plastic door catches

I have a 2003 #6295 Magna Resort. The closet door in the bath area uses a plastic door catch. I have two that are broken and needs replacement. Anyone know where to find them?

Google is your friend.

Amazon has several different styles.

They have your type with 3 different pull force ratings.

My doors used to open on corners. I replaced all of my pull-open latches with touch latches. You must push the door in a bit to unlatch. You CANNOT just pull them open.

They work GREAT!!!

There's a thread on those latches here: Southco Latches

The post in the link explains what I did to adjust the pull-tension. Earlier posts in the thread talk about part numbers and sources.

Our current coach has the white ones like in Don's post above in the same closet door mentioned in the OP. I adjusted (clipped the springs) so that all four could could be used. The prior owner had moved two of the latches (one on each door) out of the way because the spring tension made it very difficult to open the closet doors.

The replacement latches that I ordered in the linked post were $5.50 apiece from Reid Supply via Amazon.

So far the ones in our current coach are working fine. But if they fail I may upgrade them as Healyman did.

FWIW

As you coach ages so do these J hooks. So when you buy them buy a bunch of them because you will need to replace all of the older ones eventually.

A quick look on Amazon has these http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_1_5_h...268&sr=8-5-acs

eBay has the same thing, this looks looks a good price Sale New 10 PC Set Southco Push Latch 5 lb Boat RV Motor Home | eBay

You could do some more research on them but they are pretty easy to find.

Kevin Waite, one of the best CC techs in the business will probably have them.

I can't believe how expensive these latches are.

There are two strengths, the black and the white, I don't remember which one is the strongest
