Plumbing Bay Thermostat 2008 Inspire
I have searched all the basement compartments for this item! This will be our first winter with our coach...we live in Virginia. Doesn't get below freezing too often, so we have set our internal temp to 50 using the electric heating system only, but a tad worrying about the plumbing bay. We plan on using it a couple times this winter for a few short trips with our FMCA regional friends, so I don't want to completely winterize the coach.
Advice?

I am starting to work on this problem my self. but everything I read says if you turn the rear heating zone on, it will also heat the holding tanks/basement bays. can anyone verify if that is correct?

We have a front furnace and a rear furnace for the bedroom area. This furnace also heats the wet bay. Place a outside temperature gauge that you can read from inside your coach and see if the temp come up or with the furnace on open the door after a while and see if you feel any heat come out.

I forgot to mention I have an Aqua-Hot system with an Electric supplemental...none of the overhead's provide heat. I read in the Aqua-Hot owners manual to be sure the plumbing bay thermostat is set to prevent the plumbing from freezing. That is why I posted this, can't find that particular thermostat. I have two zones, bedroom and living room.

If CC didn't change the installation, there should be a copper thermocouple in the plumbing bay next to the pump, or in that vicinity. This will be connected to a rheostat. The procedure I read said to put the sensor in a cup of ice water at 32* and adjust the furnace to come on with the rheostat.

When you say "plumbing bay" do you mean that? Or Aqua Hot bay? Going out to look at both...in the dark!
Just looked in both no copper thermocouple anywhere and no rheostat. BUT, the plumbing bay is 5 degrees warmer than outside, so I think it is working fine. Freeze warning tonight.

In my magna with aqua hot its behind the door in the plumbing bay next to the water filter. Its just a knob with a copper bulb hanging by the tanks.

In my 2007 Allure the plumbing bay is heated by the circulation of fluid in zone 2 of the aqua-hot. Zone 2 circulation pump has to be "on" which i believe is only called for from the coach Zone thermostat. I will go out and look but I believe the thermostat in the plumbing bay (rheostat and thermometer copper bulb) may only turn on the circulation fan behind the plumbing bay heating coil (which the hot zone 2 aqua hot fluid passes through).

So here is a pic of mine. First is the panel it's behind, the second shows the thermocouple in front of the pump, and the rheostat on the left of the opening.

We have the same setup in our 2000 Magna with Webasto. The manual states that if the Central Heat switch in the bedroom is turned on, the thermostat in the wet bay will keep it from freezing. Living in Minnesota we should have ample opportunity to test it this winter. But we haven't been below freezing yet. And of course, we've blown out the plumbing and pumped anti freeze into the lines. But I intend to try it out just to see how it works.
