Powertech gen belt

I have 3000 hours on my Powertech 12.5K generator and am replacing all fluids and filters. I am thinking about replacing the belt too. The shop says they have to remove the generator to replace, is that right? They want $1100 to replace the belt. I assume you guys use OEM Cat belt when replacing it? I am leaning towards doing it as I hate breakdowns on the road.

No worries, I decided to replace it, and will use OEM PowerTech belt.
