Propane Issues

I have never used the stove top in my used 2007 Country Coach Intrigue. The tank shows 89 gals. As far as I can tell the stove top burners have never been used. The valve was off at the tank so I turned it on but I still have no propane coming through the burners. I don't think propane is used anywhere else in the coach. Any ideas?

First.. Turn off the tank valve.. Not check the gauge ON THE TANK (it is a float type and actually rather accurate) Ignore your panel.

Now... Page 2 Your propane regulator either has an ON/OFF switch,,, or it does not.

IF it does, Read on .. .If not Skip to "Page 3"

Turn it on,, Using any ferromagnatic (means magnets stick) tool that does NOT have a sharp edge hold near magnet on the solenoid valve that should be near the regulator.. If the tool finds the solenoid to be "Attractive" good. Continue to page 3

Page 3
SLOWLY open the gas valve. If you hear gas flow STOP.. Wait till the sound goes away then open a bit more,, Continue till it's fully open

Page 4

Take a lighter (one of the long ones) and hold it near a burner, Turn on that burner.. It may take as much as 2 minutes before the flame engages the burner (Air in the line since you've never used it)

After that it should act the way you think it should.

Or, if it's like our Magna be sure the leak detector is turned on. If it isn't there will be no flow to anything.
