Purge switch

I have a switch marked "air tank wtr purge" on the control panel. When I push it on I don't hear anything happening. I figure I should be hearing a air sound?

Is the ignition on/engine running when you push it? You should hear a audible hiss from the tanks.

Yes I have tried it running and not running. I will have someone switch it to the on position and I will be outside to see if I hear anything. Possible bad solenoid or relay. I will check it out tomorrow.

Should make good noise.

If like ours you may have additional valve in line of manual type that can be closed in the event of failure of the electric one.

Valve should be near tanks

It was working all along. I had my son flip the switch while I was outside and can here the air pi$$ out. Thought it would be louder and would be able to hear it in the drivers seat.
