Quartzsite first timer

Hi all, I will be attending the quartzsite rally for the first time in my vintage 1995 country coach concept and wondering is there a group of country coach owners that get together. It seems this would be a great opeortunity to learn from others.
I am pretty handy myself and will be installing a solar system on my rig while there but, no one can know everything dispite what my wife thinks. ( she says I'm a know it all. Lol) I am sure there is a lot to learn from others and I am looking forward to my time in Quartzsite .

Hi
we just returned from Quartzsite this past Sunday, I have been there several times, hoping to return in a few weeks for a week or so boondocking, enjoy your stay. If you are there now 1/7/16 is it raining?

If you get solar installed, I would recommend Discount Solar. Solar Bill is another installer, but I have heard nothing good about his installations. If you havent already done so, I would recommend that you do a lot of reading to gain an understanding of what you want to accomplish with your solar, and best practices in installations.

Here is a must read link for anyone contemplating solar.

RV Electrical

We will be in Q from January 18, till the end of the month.

Thanks for the info but I am doing the solar myself. I brought the panels, wiring and charge controller with me . I figure I can buy whatever else I need.
I have so many projects at home I have to run off in the RV to work on it.

Same thing here, except the "project" is the DW's health!

OK, sounds good! That is what I did back in 2010. My system is still working great.
