I have a 2008 CC Allure 470 Crane Prairie. Since new I have had problem with rear end pulling out of the ride height valves. Recently replaced the shocks, since they were pulled apart. at 8000 miles. Country Coach recommended putting a strap around the shocks to limit upward movement.
Does anyone have any idea as to another fix for this problem. It is now hard to level.

You will probably need to find ground that is closer to level as these big coaches are harder to adjust to out of level grade than a shorter wheel base coach. Does the coach have air leveling or jacks or both? Is the leveling system causing the problem with the air ride height valve issue?

I have air leveling, no hydraulic. I believe the problem is being caused by dips in the road, causing the rear end to raise too high.

Have you had the air pressure setting and the air ride height checked? It sounds strange to get so much lift on such a heavy coach as to pull the shocks apart from dips in a road.

Broke two rear shocks on our allure ,no. 31604, could not get any straps so had the road king shocks put on. It also improved the ride, which was not bad.

Ride height has been check and calibrated probably 12 times, since May of 2008, when I bought the coach. I pulled the ride height valves loose about 4 times, before they tied it down. Placed a tow strap around the shock mounting brackets...
I do not know about air pressure, it runs just north of 125
I may go t o HWH in two weeks and have them install the Active Air Suspension.
Coach drives like a dream.. by the way my coach no is 31664
