Remote Lock Info?

Anyone know the brand of the components used for our Key less Remote Lock System?

On my 07 it is a Tri-Mark e-ASK system (click for link to vehicle searchable webpage).

If you look on your Serial Number ID sheet (mine is stuck on the back of the bathroom cabinet door) it is labelled there as well - mine is labeled "burglar alarm".

Hope this helps,
Brian

Our 2002 Affinity has a Crime Stoppers CS2002-DC burglar alarm. It was/is equipped with the door latch feature but for some reason it was not configured. The keyless fob activated/deactivated the alarm but did not lock/unlock the entry door.

I retrofitted the actuator and wired it into the existing CS2002 system. Here's the last post I made describing the retrofit.

Keyless Entry Door Lock Retrofit

Works great. Now when the keyless fob activates the alarm it locks the door and vice versa. I believe there is an output signal that can be used to lock/unlock the basement doors. They are currently locked/unlocked by means of a switch near the passenger seat. Hooking that into the Crime Stoppers system is a future project.

Ours works all the storage bays from the fob as well as the switch just inside the door. Problem with that setup is that if I unlock the main door and forget to use the switch inside it leaves my bay doors unlocked all night. If I use the fob to lock the main door while inside it does lock everything, but it sets the alarm off when I open the main door unless I use the fob to unlock everything again!

Thanks for pointing that out. I think my plan to include the basement doors in the fob-actuated lock/unlock operation would result in behavior like your system's. There are two buttons on the fob that are not currently configured in our system. I'll look into using one of those for the basement doors alone.

Another option would be to eliminate the burglar alarm feature altogether.

My apologies for taking this off-topic from the original post.
