Repair of leather dinette seat

My brother has just purchased a used 2005 CC Inspire 330 and one of the seat backs on the dinette has rips and tears....he is wondering what he can use to repair or at least do a temporary fix. It's the light beige, and I think it's leather.

If leather, I would take it (believe it or not) to a shoe repair shop and see what they can do. I have had shoe repair shops fix tents and parts of a tent trailer I had with excellent results.

It is not real leather, it is called ultra leather which is a synthetic product. Best bet is to see if there is a tag on it which identifies the material. Next would be to take the seat out and take it to a good upholstery shop

Good advice! Didn't say where the coach is located. The backside of my driver seat had a tear on the seams. I took it out - 5 bolts holding it on to the floor. Easy to take off, but very heavy to handle. At first, a local upholstery man said he could replace the torn piece. After working on it for several hours, he admitted it was too much for him. I took it to Villa International (the makers of the seat) located in Elkhart, IN, about three hours drive from my house. They even found the same color fabric and fixed it for $500. Yours may not be that heavy and complicated so a local auto upholstery shop could easily fix it. Good Luck!
