Replacing the hydraulic fan controller

I have not posted on the forum before. I may be doing this wrong. If so, please let me know.

I am in the process of replacing the hydraulic fan controller in my 2006 Country Coach Inspire. The original controller is a danfoss number 1090385 with 3 pin connector. The replacement is danfoss number 11162963 with 3 pin connector. I think the new controller is correct replacement. However, the danfoss 3 pin connector will not fully plug to the RV connector due to a difference in the areas between the pins on the connectors. Should I splice the old controller connector to the new controller? There may be an adapter or some way to modify the new connector that I am unaware of.

Thanks,

Tom Gordon

Hi Tom

You need to cut the wires and splice the old conector onto the new controller. Been there done that.

I replaced mine with the wax valve from Source Eng. Works great.
