Retrofitting Entry Door Keyless Latch
Am attempting to retrofit an electromechanical latch actuator to my 2002 Affinity entry door. It already has a Gargoyle CS02002DC Crime Stoppers security system with working receiver and key fobs. I'd like to use that existing apparatus and add entry door lock/unlock functionality.
I'd be willing to sacrifice the alarm in order to do this. i.e. replace alarm arm/disarm functions with door lock/unlock functions. It would also be very good to add bay door lock/unlock. Bay door actuation is now by way of a switch inside the coach.
The first image shows the actuator that I'm trying to locate. The TriMark web site has not turned up anything. An e-mail has been sent to Northwest RV Supply.
The second image is of the prep done in original construction to provide access to the latch area from the edge of the door. A hole will have to be drilled in the hinge-edge of the door to accommodate the wiring. I'm looking for a compact plunger/button type set of contacts. What does Country Coach typically use to get signals/power from door frame into the door? The contacts I've seen on Monaco's are larger than I want to use.
TIA
