Roof radius clear coat failure

The clear coat on my roof radius is very thin in places with no gloss. I have an appointment in early Nov to have the radius repainted (redo base color) and re-cleared.

I read many posts on various forums where roof radius and front/rear cap clear fades and peels, in only a few years on some coaches. Mine is not peeling and at nearly 8 years old and stored outside, I guess I can't be too disappointed. Overall, I think the paint job on my coach is outstanding.

How many of you with CC's have had this issue and, if so, at what age of the coach did it occur?

I should have had mine done when we were there last year. However, it was our first trip to the West coast and we were anxious to get on with the trip. Ten days in JC was about enough .

Ours was repainted about two years ago. Was not real bad, and suspect if the previous owner had taken better care with applying a wax with UV protection in it - would have still been pretty good.
