Rope Lighting??

Purchased a 2000 CC Magna. Dealer agreed to replace the rope lighting as 5 or 6 of the individual lights were out. Problem, he has been unable to locate rope lighting that is the same width that will fit in the channel around the window boxes. He says all the lighting is wider than the original and will not fit.

Any solutions??

P.S. Will travel to Oregon in a couple of weeks to pick up our new to us coach. Really excited. BTW the coach is a 36 ft. with the 385 Cat engine.

I really can't help you in your search but you might check the yahoo CC forum. Lots of good help there. You can also look at led lighting for power savings. I have no idea what size bulbs are in the rope lighting but the ceiling fixtures are 10 watt g4 bulbs. They pull almost 1 amp each. In my galley area, one switch lights 10 bulbs so if I'm running on batteries I try to watch what lights I have switched on.

Once you get your coach, add the model, year and build number to your signature. You can often find someone who has a coach within two or three build numbers of yours.
