Several days ago I found out about a possible radiator problem on certain country coach motorhomes. I have read many posts concerning the radiator problem in country coach motorhomes, but I have never seen anything that talks about the large rubber bushings that are at the end of the rods connecting the radiator to the frame both top and bottom
My coach is a 2007 country coach. The radiator is in perfect condition. there are no cracks, it does not leak and there are no signs that it has ever leaked. All the welds are perfect and of high quality. I can understand that if the connection was metal to metal there would be a potential problem. My question is, is there any difference between my coach and all previous years? Were the rubber bushings always part of the installation?

No help to your question but I also have an 06 Inspire build #51887 which also has the bushings with no leaks. About 15 months ago I was at Colton Truck on another problem and they looked at my system an indicted that my setup shouldn't have concerns.
If you find more info please pass it on. I have about 9 months left on extended warranty.

I have the rubber bushings also and I also had the radiator start to leak 3 weeks ago. Mine is a 2006 Inspire with only 8000 miles, which I bought 6 weeks ago. I installed the bolted together copper and steel replacement radiator. The original radiator looked perfect but I kept my eye on it because I was aware of the problem and sure enough, it started to leak right before I was ready to leave on a 3500 mile trip. I was actually happy to have it happen before I was on the road. The ones that are problematic are all aluminum construction , you may have the improved version .

How did you know what the correct replacement material and mounting would be the best success? Where did you purchase?

If you don't mine giving your build # so I know where mine stands.

I got a lot of info from IRV2. I ordered from Radiator Supply House in Sweet Home, Oregon. Tele 877-615-3002. Paid $3900 incl. freight, list price was $4200. Had local shop install for $1700 labor. Radiator Supply House is very familiar with the problem and can hook you up with the correct improved replacement. My build# is 51590. The problem with waiting if you do have one of the original all aluminum units is that a breakdown on the road will probably be a lot more expensive and you likely will be down for 1to 2 weeks. I was glad to put that worry behind me but it is a lot of money , so tough call on what to do.
