RV Water Softners

I am considering adding a water softner system to our 2002 Allure; 40 ft; #30723.
Anybody have any suggestions or insight into what manufacturers/ systems should be viable candidates? Preferably I would plumb the system into the existing plumbing rather than a stand alone serial system external to the rig.
I would appreciate any inputs.
Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. I've used a stand alone unit from Camping World for years and been happy with it... although it is a bit of a pain.

For an integrated system, check out the link provided, and maybe even do some research on reverse osmosis systems. There's been quite a bit posted on them here. There are some really cool RO systems out there that folks have integrated into their coaches.

We've spent a lot of time in the desert SW and some kind of softener is a must.

Best of luck.

Rick
