Has anybody out there installed the Samsung 197 Fridge in a 2000 CC Magna,40 ft.? (I currently have the original Dometic, 2 door). ? If so, what is the process ?

Lewis: In most cases..the windshield is needed to be removed to pass the old Dometic out and new frig back into the coach. Have not performed the task but have read enough refrigerator exchange threads to believe in the method.

The windshield does not have to be removed. One of your side windows is large enough when they remove the complete window. Re installation is a piece of cake. You might, just might be able to get everything through the front door but I doubt it. Most CC's of our vintage had a pretty narrow door.

To get the old refer out, the doors are removed and then it will fit through the window. Getting it in, the 197 is the same way, remove the doors and in it comes.

You can either get a smaller inverter to power the 197 or use the whole coach inverter. You might have to re wire the ac power plug used for the current refer if it doesn't go through your inverter as I did. Check the coach wiring to see how things are wired but it isn't hard to change configurations.

Best mod I have done to the coach

I think it depends on the coach. My 05 Inspire had enough room to come in the door. Infinity Coach (Auburn, Wa.) took the door off the Samsung and removed the Passenger seat which allowed the install without window removal.

I installed a 197 in my coach myself, and brought it in the front door.
