If the information we were given during November 2015 factory visit is correct - the two prototypes are Country Coaches; one was to be the prototype 2017 Magna...I don't recollect the 2nd model...

So, they were already building prototypes before Winnie bought them out?
We know Ron built a rig for himself for advertising and took it with him as part of the deal.

Sounds like there's a morning "meeting" to decide where to go and I know she won't get up in time to make them. Been getting info from Warren Bliss about the plans. Just can't get my wife to commit to anything except Dr's appts!
When is this rally? Could you PM me some info, I live close to Mcminville

Not that I'm aware of.

Ron's Allure 480 was also a "proof of concept" adding the "look and feel" to the new Allure model design plans. It was the only "new construction" prototype that I was aware of. And yes Ron kept the coach; well deserved I might add.

I was told that Winnebago was sufficiently enthused about the quality and look of Ron's Allure 480 and the other new model design plans that they approved funding for building and production line refurbishing, and for new/updated molds and the construction of two additional prototype CC models for proof of concept approval.

I was led to believe that production CC models would begin rolling off the assembly line by mid-2017. That all production lines for CC models would be within the same segregated CC only building. Also that the new production CC models would continue utilizing the CC Dynomax chassis and not a relabeled Freightliner or Sparten chassis.

Purely conjecture on my part - but if the production line(s) are complete it is possible for one or more production Allures could be completed in 2017...

And that's about all the DW and I recollect from the visit.

I reckon we'll know by this fall if what we were told proves true.

I hope that is true!! But it will up the cost or they'll have to cut quality somewhere to make up for it.

Hopefully it is true. Looking at the build quality of Ron's Allure 480 and its MSRP - it'll be a higher price point not a cut in construction quality.
