Fun and games. Bad enough having an electrical problem , let alone an erratic one.
I'm thinking the only thing you can do till it quits again, would be to re-seat the steering column electrical connections and check the dash grounds, then cross your fingers.

On my 2006 Allure the instrument cluster cover slides forward [large Velcro pads hold the cover in place] and gives access to two very small radio shack piezo beepers ty wrapped next to the weak light bulbs that indicate left and right. The piezos are extremely small and with my old hearing I almost hear them most of the time. I am thinking of upsizing them when I have a chance.

Regarding the turn signal beeper, on my 2004 Inspire, mine stopped working and it was a fuse that controlled the beeper system and the trailer light plug. Found the fuse in front compartment on driver side. Replaced it and still working.

You should be able to get a similar piezo device from radio shack and just replace the one you have. These Java a fairly wide supply voltage spread

Google sonalert as these are common items been around for decades.

Radio shack may have something but tge sonalert brand come in some that have adjustable output via rotating disk and can raise the dead loud when full open.
