Signal light beeper

The beeper that beeps when you put your turn signal on doesn't work. They were working fine then put the right signal on made two weird beeps and stopped working. The left signal still beeps. All outside lights are flashing as should be.

Mike, sorry can't help with the signal light gizmo but I am curious..... did you pull out of the Americamps in Ashland, VA about 6:30 yesterday morning? We are here and I thought I saw a late 90's model CC without a toad pulling out.

Yes that was us. Hope I didn't wake you up. We just flew to florida to pick it up. That was our first drive from Daytona to there. Wish we could have met.

The warning beeper , will be wired into the front signal light wiring, so it won't sound with the brake lights, with diodes to prevent cross feed; left to right.
I don't have a Gillig, chassis , but I'll look over my wiring schematic to see if there might be any useful info.

This is for mike brez and smlranger.
My beeper still works for now, but I just wanted to say that I stayed at that same campground just last month. Nice place. It really is kinda cool how we all seem to pass by each other like we do.
I paid for mobile help service. It was the best $350 I have ever spent. I'm sure the people who have been around awhile know these guys, But it's Kevin Waite, K&M Mobile RV repair. 541-953-6162. Kevin handles the CC parts, etc. and Butch Williams is the Phone Guru! He can probably tell you exactly what any problem you have is and have you fixing it over the phone. They both worked for Country Coach. Butch was the CC traveling RV repair technician. The guy they sent out to fix what needed to be fixed. Sorry for the commercial, but I have learned so much from these guys it's remarkable.

I subscribe to the same service and both Kevin and Butch have saved me at least what I paid in labor fees I did not have to pay someone else. It is great to know there are experts you can call to help diagnose and fix a problem.

Don't I know it! They're great. It's comforting to know that any time day or night you can call and Butch will talk you out of trouble. Plus just how much I've learned!

Cat C-9 Overheating

I went back to the 2013 Thread regarding Intermittent Overheating on a 2005 Inspire with C-9.
I turned our AC on Max and High. Fan did not come on so I went to Bay under drivers seat and pulled fuse For Fan Control. Fan came on.
The 2013 Thread said to look for a small control panel the size of a deck of cards that has 2 - 1/4" hydraulic lines coming into the back of it.
I have checked the compartment over and over and can not find it.
Any other suggestions where to look, what to look for or what to do next?
2006 CC Inspire 360

Thanks

Jim Andersen

I do not have that type of fan controller but I have read that the Sauer-Danfoss controller you have is located inside the fan shroud at the bottom.

Jim is right! When I had my Inspire I had to replace the controller which is underneath the motorhome on or next to the fan shroud. I ordered the complete unit but really only needed the electronic portion on the outside of the unit which made installation easier.
Also, now about the "Signal Light Beeper" that Mike asked about... I had mine on my Intrigue repaired while in for some other issues. It was rather easy and the tech showed me how to get under the dash cover, unsoldered a Piezo beeper and replaced it with one from Radio Shack.

I needed a low air pressure beeper and the tech also used a Radio Shack one.

Mine is located next to the shroud under the coach.

Thank you guys for the info on the fan Controller on my C-9 Cat.
Will get under coach and see what I can find.
Sorry for posting it under this Blinker Thread.
Not sure how I did that. I thought that I was posting a new thread.

Well we got home I used the blinkers at least 50 times and the right side never beeped. When my son came home from work he wanted to see the rv so we went out to the back yard to give him the tour. He sits down in the drivers seat honks the air horn flips the blinkers on and both left and right now work.
