Slide noise

My rear bedroom slide passenger side makes a squeaking sound when coming in and out. Can it be lubed or adjusted? It is hydraulic

My galley (front curb side) slide does the same thing. It works fine but it groans and creaks when moving it, sometimes more loudly than others. I spoke to a former CC tech who told me there were lube points on the scissor mechanism but I should probably leave that to folks who have experience gaining access to the mechanism. On mine, it appears quite of bit of interior cabinetry would need to be removed to get at the mechanism.

We plan to stop at HWH in Iowa in the spring and see if they can/will take a look at it. Otherwise, will put up with it until we can get to Oregon and take it to Country Coach.

My slide is driven by electric motor, however it made the same squeak you describe. I traced it to a runner guiding the slide along the inside edge of the bed frame. I took a little beeswax and rubbed it on the track and the squeak is gone. A simple candle wax would do the same thing.

You can lube the slide seals with talc or baby powder if that's what is making the noise.
