Slide-outs Won't Extend

Hope this helps someone out there.

My slide-outs woundln't extend. The ready lights were not lighted. Found that the "excessive slope" light on the leveling system was on which locks out the slides. To reset the excessive slope, move coach to more suitable location and re-level. In my case, I moved over a few feet. Know that the leveling system figures into many coach functions that get locked out when not leveled properly.

The "code"

You might try this. We had the same problem with "excess slope" lit up on the panel on our "03 Magna

1. Press your foot on the service brake
2. Turn the ignition key on
3. Press level button one time
4. Release the parking brake
5. The excess slope light should go out and the slides should work

No Joke, this worked for us.

The Country Coach folks in Junction City saved the day for us.

I don't think the service brake is part of the scheme, but only to keep you from rolling.
