I used to be a dealer for Pressure Pro, but later bought a TST 507 system. Some rigs, like our '02 Dutch Star have too much metal (Newmar added plates) around the rear axle and do need the repeater.
When I was selling the Pressure Pro systems I only heard of one person that had his stem mounted sensors stolen. The monitor even gave them a warning but they thought it was just the pressure dropping due to low air temps.
Looking under our Magna and reading the manuals shows that there are antenna's wired in for the SmarTire system which is one reason I'm not wanting to give up on it.

True, but you need a $300 pickup unit added to the VMS unit.

I am going to dig out my manual for the Silver Leaf and take a look, I'm liking that idea. Thanks for the heads up.

JustCruzzin,

Call SilverLeaf and they can tell you what you need. I don't remember except I did have to get a fitting to switch a pin out.
