I am just about ready to hit the road with our "new to us" CC Inspire. One issue that has come up, occasionally I get a couple intermittent beeps that has the same sound as our turn signal. At first it was happening regularly, then I found one of the side lights out, replace that and it went away. But now it is back , but very limited.

Idea's?

After 35 years with sirens, air horns, and chainsaws I can't hear my turn signal beeper..... how ever my wife has no problem ......

On my 2008 Allure I have a similar problem and it seems the only solution is to switch the odometer to trip meter.

Look for an indicator in someplace.

Could be a jack warning or other issue

I have looked around, nothing...and I have no jacks...airbags...all seems ok!

Pull fuse for turn signal then other fuses until stops.

I had this same issue with my 95 Magna, the constant turn signal beep only occurred with the headlights on. Turned out being a shorted/burned out front turn signal bulb.

Hummmmm...

A poor ground could cause this.

Imagine a cluster of lights such as headlight and turn signals.

If the ground is bad the powee to one will "lift" all due to no ground.

With turn signals connected via brake switch the other turn bulbs not connected so if no other draws the voltages can get funny.

The sonalert device needs little current to make noise so it MAY be possible.

Get your voltmeter and carefully sneak up on things.

Turn headlights on then first just observe to see if one is like us and not so bright then check the terminals at the light if you can for 12 volts across the light as a poor ground will show something else as there will be 12 volts on the hot lead and some other voltage on the ground.

You also can just look for a voltage present on the turn signal bulb leads as well.

Remember to sneak up on it....carefully touch to check without twisting or tugging as that may "fix it".
