Type of Hydraulic Fluid

I have an 08 Country Coach and just changed the new style spin on filter for the hydraulic system. Now I'm trying to see what type fluid Country Coach used for that service in 2008. This is for the hydraulic fan and power steering systems.

Thanks in advance

I believe your owner's manual will spec Dexron ATF. That is what I use in mine.

Actually, I don't think you can buy Dexron III nowadays. Everything I see is labelled Dexron/Mercon.

I went with the Chevron MD-3 in a 5 gallon bucket. Made it easier pumping it into the reservoir. Cost was pretty close to buying 17 quarts.
