I found a 98 36' Alure in our classifieds and would like to know what a fair price would be.
The coach is in very nice codition, always stored inside, has less than 30K miles, galley slide, new tires, ceramic tile, 7K diesel generator, 325 HP Cummins -- all the toys.
Any idea of a fair price?
Thank You, Chuck

Can't help you with the value, but I would be concerned about the low milage. Diesels do better running. My Power Tech diesel generator warranty required running it for at least 1 hour/month under a 50% load.

Good luck,
Steve

As posted above, nada is a good source but don't put all the options in as that is like double dinging put the year and model and see what the price is then negotiate 10-20% off that price for any repairs that may be required. Ron

That is what I am thinkig too Ron. Without adding options this is what NADA says - http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-25-38-5697-...z=57730&gc=RV&gtc=MH - I called CC and have a copy of the build sheet. The actual options are:
Exhaust brake
Diesel generator
2K inverter
Power passenger seat
Tile floor in kitchen and bath
Side-by-side refrigerator
Washer/Dryer combo
Heat pumps
Full awning package with chairs
Roll out storage trays
Full rear mudflap
Coach armour
Thermo windows

The coach has 27,000 miles, was always stored inside, New tires (2 months old), looks excellent, full maintenance records, was fully inspected including servicing of engine and generator. It is a very nice coach and I would like to have it. I would probably pay average retail for it but....................the guy is firm at $70K.................I have plenty of time so I guess I will keep looking. -- Chuck

look if its in that good of condition than I would probally go as high as $65,000 as That is what a dealer would probally try to get.

If the coach is a nice as you indicate, the floor plan is what you want, and the owner has complete service records, I wouldn't let 5K stop me from owning it. Life is short and there's a bunch of junk out there, so why take the chance to save a few grand.
Maintenance, condition, and upkeep are the prime considerations in a ten year old coach, not NADA values.
You are not buying this as an investment I hope, but to enjoy. So enjoy.
