Velvac mirror top hat
The mirror heads on my Allure are not very tall. Velvac makes a Top Hat convex mirror that can be added. My heads have the convex mirror insert at the bottom.
I am curious if adding the top hat really makes a difference in available viewing area. I have seen them on class A's but not sure I remember seeing them on any CC's.
My 2002 Journey had the taller Velvac heads with the convex insert at the bottom. Guess CC was saving money when they decided to install the shorter head on my Allure.

I have the top hats on my coach, almost useless! Everything is so small in them I find them a struggle to see anything. The only time I use them is backing into the side of my house so I can get a full picture of what's over there.
Honestly, the main mirror are a disappointment also, just too small.

Properly positioned (almost straight down look) they eliminate all blind spots...especially right by the front wheel. Use whenever changing lanes.
Check top and bottom, signal, check top and bottom, start move, check top and bottom.
They work...and worth the $$$. Came on the Dynasty but I had added them on a previous coach. Feel naked without them when driving another coach without them.

My 07 Intrigue came with upper and lower convex mirrors and I much prefer them over the mirrors with simply lower convex mirror. I particularly like that I can adjust all 3 mirrors on each side remotely from the driver's seat.

Added the Top Hat to our Newmar Essex which has good mirrors to start with but really like the Top Hat for cars that are close the coach out of site of the regular mirrors.

My coach has the lower convex mirrors. The driver side has a big glare from the raised dashboard, since it is mounted on the side. I added a "D" shaped convex mirror to the top of the mirror body and it has made it a world of difference.
Check the top, middle, bottom and then pull out. Also helps with backing in storage site.

My Allure mirrors are useless, I would love to find a used set of chrome mirrors that I could see out of.
