Vms 400 cl ?
OK, I bought the wet cells now I need to change the charger settings from AGM to wet cell. I can get to the VMS page where the setting shows, I can go up and down the listing BUT I can't get it to go to the line (or below) to reset the batteries to wet cell. The highlight line won't move to that line or below. Also no setting on the inverter itself.
Do I need to find a dealer that has a different panel to reset it?

Using charger on wet set for AGM short term should not be much concern as wet are more forgiving and may have a higher float but would need to be confirmed.
Watch the water.

I'm going from my memory which may be wrong, but for some settings, yes you do need to see the dealer. For example, to change positions of the tire pressure sensor in SmartTire, if you do not have integrated w/SilverLeaf, you need to see a dealer.

Tony - It maybe AGM specific, as far as being safe to use the programs for most AGM's on a wet cell. Lifeline has different parameters the other AGM's, and I suspect the Lifeline settings would be too high for wet cells.
Mr D. did not comment what kind of AGM's he removed, but if Lifeline, I'd get the settings changed ASAP, to preserve the new wet cells. And, it sounds like he is trying to do so.
If I'm wrong about this, great and no harm. But if I'm right, and they were Lifeline (heck, even non Lifeline AGM's have higher settings for Bulk/Absorb/Float and different lengths, then wet cells, and I believe they too are higher(?)), so sooner maybe better.
(On Edit: Just read in his other thread that he had Deka AGM's, which is not as hot a charge as the Lifeline's. But still would recommend as short of charging on this setting as possible.)

Well, I was planning on changing the batteries out tomorrow but I'll see if I can find the charging profiles for the AGM and wet cell settings on the Xantrex site. I know the manuals in the MH don't show anything.
And yes, they are Deka AGM's.
Man, this setting up a different rig is getting harder and harder! But thanks to all the help here it's getting done!
OK, just looked at the specs. The wet cells take a little more voltage and have an equalize setting that the AGM's don't have.
Voltage.............................. Flooded (or wet) Gel ... AGM
VA Absorption Voltage (VDC) ..14.4 ...............14.4 .. 14.3
VG Gassing Voltage (VDC) ..... 13.5 ...............13.8 .. 13.45
VF1 Float Voltage (VDC) .........13.5 ...............13.8 ..13.45
VF2 Float Exit Voltage (VDC) ...12.5 ...............12.5 ..12.5
Well, I tried to line the columns up but the forum removes spaces!
But it appears that I won't damage the wet cell batteries if I don't get the setting changed immediately.

should be program button to the inverter page then scroll down to installer code. I think the code is 41 or 42 then it will let you go down to battery bank size, type and charger stage selection. This is from the front control.

Thanks Rod!!
I'll give that a shot, I didn't have any idea what the "installer code" was so I was afraid to mess with it.
Deen
42 was the "magic" number, got it done and will change the batteries tomorrow
