Voice synthesizer not working.

This is our second used country coach allure, 2000. I noticed that the voice thing isn't working the other day. Hasn't worked since we got this coach but, not a bad thing in some aspects. Anyway I would like it to work as it should since we have it. Any input on how to troubleshoot? I guess the first thing is to check speaker and it is connected. Next would be to look for the fuse, haven't done that yet, just thought of it now as I am writing. Anyone have any experience on this gizmo? Thanks!

There are a number of boards under the dash that handle the voice. In earlier coaches there was a lot more speech such as holding tank info, etc. My coach only has voice for the front slide telling to move stuff out of the way before moving the front slide.

Our 99 allure only said to watch out for things when moving the slide. We didn't have that coach long enough to hear it say anything else. I will check the fuses and get back.

what specific voice are you looking for? just as above already mentioned, my intrigue from the same year only has a voice reminder of clearing the spaces in n' out surrounding the slide before the movement.

Not looking for any things in particular just want it to work. Was curious if it did say more than opening the slide. I think the magna has more voice options for sure. Not a big deal.

On our 2000 Magna (which also says a lot ) I think the speech synthesizer board is located in the overhead above the driver's windshield. And both speakers are up there too. For the slide out warning and for all the coach related warnings.

I haven't messed with it so far. Took coach and dw to fla for the winter and now I am back in pa waiting for it to snow. Hopefully nest trip down I will take another look. Will keep you all posted. Just wondering, what section of the manual is that print out from? I want to see what mine could be saying. I know our 99 allure only said about the slide.

My 95 CC Magna voice wasn't working and turned out that it was connected to a dead circuit. I had already re-wired other systems that shared that same wire (#65).

The voice computer and speaker is in the central overhead compartment behind the tank level and switch panel. I pulled the #65 red wire which was not getting power and used another +12v always on source. The voice now works!

As others have said he/she says a lot, very high tech for 1995!
