Volume on Kenwood with Garmin

Hello
We have the kenwood with built in garmin. The volume is very low when giving directions. It looks like the sound comes out of one speaker over the driver. We have it turned up all the way in the settings on the garmin setup. Is there an additional volume knob ? We must be missing something. This is in an 08 magna.
Thanks
Rod

Check to see if you have a speaker switch on the dash. It might say "home". Turn your radio on and toggle switch.
