Wall Repair

Had a window leak and damage was done by time it showed up.
Here is were it started.



It leaked from the top corner of window rotting the wood on the side and bottom of window finally bubbling the wall.



Ripped wall paper and plywood off wall.

Remove rubber trim hiding screws from window



Now to remove screws and trim ring





Replaced ply wood and belt sanded both sides to take off a couple mm and glue with M1

I had some 3/4x4 oak laying around so I ripped it down the middle and planed it to 7mm I have a bunch of stain in the garage will see if I can match what's there. Before I attach to plywood I will see what it looks like. Was thinking of maybe white ship lap also.

Didn't reseal outer window?....Think you better water test with a hose...

Skipped that part. Popped out side windows they used stickey foam tape. What a pita to get off window frame. Replaced with butyl tape

Been there, done that....but I resealed the outer .....I see now....better pic....

After reinstalling trim ring and tightening all the screws trimmed off putty that squeezed out and put a bead of caulk on the top and both sides with pro flex rv
