We are new to all of this!
Hello everyone. We recently bought our first RV, a 2007 Country Coach. I took driving lessons which has helped the confidence level quite a bit. We've been on a couple of 3-4 day trips. First long trip will be from here (Sacramento) to Louisiana for 2-3 weeks in Nov. My project this week is building full-extension drawers to replace the pantry shelves. We have so many questions, I trust this will be a great source of information.

Driving lessons are good, but take time to find a parking lot where you can practice backing, tight turns etc. I use orange cones (which I carry with me "just in case").
Good luck on the project and we look forward to seeing you whe you get to Louisiana!

Congrats on the new-to-you County Coach. We love our 2007 Allure.
Tell us what model you have and post a few pics so we all can see.
Take your time learning the beast and don't hesitate to come here as often as necessary for advice, assistance and to share your adventures.
Happy miles.

We are new to all of this!
Bobfleener,
Welcome to the Country Coach world!
You will find that the coach is a marvel of complexity, fit and finish, and satisfaction.
We have owned ours for years and are really happy to have gone the Country Coach route.
Happy and safe travels.
Luck,
Bob

Welcome to IRV2, and the CC community/family. (Besides all CC owners having stunningly good looks and sparkling personalities. You have bought into a great line of coaches!).
Enjoy your new ride, and as has been said, please share the model and come back and let us know if we can of any help at all.
Driving, well - just remember the immortal movie Captain Ron 'They'll move out of your way...' ! Just take your time, drive for the rig, and do not be embarrassed if you just need to wait, or even have someone move out of your way... It happens, and these are expensive items, so if you hold someone up for a few minutes just to be sure, so be it!!!
Enjoy,
Smitty

Love my 2006 Magna. You are the proud owner of a high end coach. Enjoy every minute. Oh, if you're going to do a lot of your own maintenance and repairs you might consider buying the telephone help service from Kevin Waite. He has CC parts and Butch Williams is a geniius that can talk you through the toughest problems. It's gotten me out of a bunch of binds.

Certainly agree with this recommendation. Called Kevin two days ago for an issue that had me stumped. In 5 minutes he had me solve the problem easily. Saves time in the shop, money and aggravation.
