Well, thank you, everybody. We lost the deal. The owner made appointment with us on Saturday because he said he wanted to clean it up but sent us email today that he sold it. It was super deal, that does not happen often. 2006 Allure 40' with 4 slides for $115K (15K above our budget). We drove 580mi to get here to see it. I guess it was not made for us.

Thanks so much to all of you! You were such a great help! We are going to look at Tiffin Allegros.

Sorry that one did not work out for you. Here is another to consider:
2003 Country Coach Magna 42′ #6213 | Country Coach Corporation

I'm sure you can really deal on it--it's been there a long time. We test drove it two years ago and it drove very nice. However we want something newer.

Keep looking. You cannot go wrong with a CC in the age range you are looking. These are a very well built coach!

Usually if there have been recalls the dealer doing the recall sends this info to CC to be paid. When you find another coach, you can call CC and ask if all recalls have been done on that coach. I believe they will need the VIN number, and perhaps S/N on the tag on the back of the lavatory mirror.

Thank you all very much for kind words and wishes. We were very discouraged, could not even sleep last night. But life goes on!

Thank you for the link, Peralko, but we would like to keep it close to $100K, that CC was an exception just because it was CC, it was 2006 and it was well below NADA. And somehow we got our minds set around 2005 year minimum, so...

Well, thanks! Hope we can some day be proud owners of some beautiful motorhome.

Try a Google search for Country Coach Sales and see what pops up.
