I was getting recommendations for Yuma for winter, then $25,000-$30,000 in engine repairs came up. Friends have a place in Yuma and Idaho so got some good ideas from them. Do you have friends in the Tucson you can ask?

Try RVPARKING.COM. In Tucson there is a KOA, use to be a Country Coach place. Another place is the Fair Grounds never stayed there, suppose to be cheap. Yuma BlueSky place across the street suppose to be better. Casa Grande Palm Creek Golf and RV Resort, we have an annual pad.

Stayed at voyager, rincon west and koa lazydaze. There are lots of others depending on your needs. I would not return to koa...too many questionable types. Would return to rincon or voyager anytime. Voyager is a little further from stores and eateries. Both are very nice...voyager has nicer pools, exercise equip and facilities.

Just left Tucson. Stayed at KOA lazy days. Very nice but expensive. 90/ night Iíve also stayed at south 40. Donít remember how much it cost. I didnít like the south 40 as it was tight for a big rig but did the trick.

I'm interested too!

This winter will be our first full winter on the road, and we're planning for Tucson in January also.

Right now, we're thinking:
Dec in Palm Springs, CA.
then Jan in Tucson.
then South Texas in Feb.

This will be our first time heading west... only been back and forth to Florida from Massachusetts since we only had one month available to us.
