Mine is in the engine bay on the right rear side. It's mounted just behind the chassis battery bank.

Since it is an after market part, It can be installed in many places.. HOWEVER since the simple 3-wire hook up is Main battery Positive, Aux Battery Positive and Ground. And there is one place in your motor home where all 3 can be found, Usually within an area smaller than the palm of you hand.

Look for the isolator solenoid. or other isolator device (This is the device that lets the alternator charge the house batteries)

Or across the battery boost solenoid.

On our '06 Allure it was on the forward wall of the battery compartment under the chassis batteries.
