Yahoo CC group issues?

I have tried for the past 3 days to get on the Yahoo CC Owner's forum and get messages that it is not available. Tried to access directly from Yahoo with similar results.

Are any of you other CC owners who frequent that forum having the same issue?

I get 404 page not found today. The new format has really changed. I think it may be due to trying to place advertising and popups. I know a lot of folks are coming here. This site seems more reliable and I think will be more consistent in the future.

I access ok with Mozilla.

After 12 years on Yahoo site, IRV2 is much more user friendly.

I am getting the same thing, 404 page not found. I have tried to get there via the CCI website and from Yahoo.com. I don't really miss it since it is such a terrible format, IMO. IRV2 is so much more user-friendly.

No recent trouble accessing the forum with Firefox. I agree with the others that the new format is really lame.

You may need to subscribe again or change identity and password. I had trouble logging in when they went to the new format. I had to re-subscribe to my then-current forums. I signed up on the Country Coach board later and have never had a problem accessing that forum.

FWIW

Dave, I went to Yahoo mail and it asked for my password again. Once I entered that, I was able to get to the CC group.

I am still trying to get some info on route 20 from Ontario to Bend. The one poster claimed he lost a windshield and had other damage from thrown rocks traveling that road but I believe he is referring to a section between Bend and Eugene.

We mark every road we travel on in our atlas. If the road is bad, we put a big red X on it and never travel it again.

We have traveled 20 on the route you are looking at and I didn't mark it as a no go so I consider it OK. I don't have our log handy so I don't know when we traveled it.

You can get windshield and rock damage anywhere, you just take your chances.
