1) if we use the key fob to lock the cargo bays, I can't use the key to manually unlock a bay(s). OK, my concern is, that if we loose power to the coach (batteries go dead) how do we get into the bays if they were originally locked with the key fob? I know that if we use the key fob to lock the main entry door, we can still use a key to unlock it... but that does not work with the cargo doors.

2) also, I have an upholstered piece we found in the side compartment next to the passengers seat. the dealer didn't know what it was, and we still don't know what it is nor what it's for???? Does anyone? 2 pics included.... it's about 10 - 12 inches long and 6 inches wide, with a small lip on one side.

Are you sure a key will not open the basement compartments regardless of how they were locked? Something is wrong for there is only one lock mechanism for the doors like on the entry door. Try the test more than one door and use more than one key. I suspect it is the match up between key and lock which will not operate on all the locks.

As for the unusual pillow, they have things like that for sale on the sex swing web sites.

NO, your key absolutely will NOT unlock the electric locks, they are an entirely separate lock, a round dowel actually that comes out into a receptacle when you lock them and retracts into the door when you unlock them with the key fob or the door combination. IF something happens (dead battery, lost fob etc) you CAN unlock each door individually, one at a time fairly easy. First you make sure the key lock is unlocked then pull the handle to release the latch, the latch will open just a little and you can take a flat blade, skinny screwdriver or a knife and peek in to see the dark colored dowel, take the kife or screwdriver and work the dowel back into the door, it will stay as the electric locks are thrown by magnets and not spring held, at least not tight. The door will then open and you can move to the next door, you can open all of the bay doors like that in probably 10 minutes. Don't ask me how I know, it was from a Travel Supreme but I am almost positive they use the exact system on the new Entegra. all just my experience.

on edit, PS -- Also you can NOT unlock the electric locks with the engine running, not even with the key on, some kind of a safety interlock I suppose.

The rectangular piece goes in lower pocket in the wall by your drivers or passenger seat. Covers up wiring in the bottom of pocket

It doesn't cover wiring but where you found it is where it goes. I think it just creates an angle so papers don't get balled up in that pocket.

I keep a piece of bungee cord in my battery compartment which is not lockable. I have one end hook bent into an "ell" shape and with it I can reach in and push that plunger back into the door real easily. An Allen wrench works the same way...it's just harder to find amongst all my stuff.
