2007 Melbourne electrical issue question

Hi, the other night when I got up, the cab lights were on - you know, the ones that come on when you open the door. They had come on by themselves, so I clicked the key fob to lock the doors and they went out. That happened repeatedly all night. The next night, they lights came on, and just about the time I found the keys, they went off by themselves - that happened twice. And now my battery is totally dead. The battery is less than a year old. I looked under the hood for maybe a loose wire and didn't see anything, but then I'm not too familiar with what things should look like under there. I started the truck using the auxiliary battery button and the truck seems to run fine. I was kind of thinking that maybe the key fob was messing up and meant to leave the keys with my friend for the night, but the battery wasn't charged yet anyway, so I didn't. I'm currently plugged into a 50amp plug with a converter to my normal plug. I was wondering if anyone had encountered a problem like this before, and if so, what was the solution? Or if not, any suggestions on things I could try to resolve this before I take it to a shop?

Thanks in advance for any guidance you might have.
