We have a 2014 Acadia and we have pulled a 3500 lb. Pop up from pa to California and back. Lost 1 to 2 mpg and was very good in the hills. We now purchase a jayco 17' feather lite hyhird and we are doing it again. Caution I will not pull anything over 20' with this car. Wind is not a good thing! We have had to run from tornadoes and two dust storms.
We started out in 1972 with a pop up and upgraded to a 36' fifth wheel and now we are starting over. Our pop up started to wonder and I used the hand brake to get it straight. Thank God it was not a long trailer. Ultra lite trailers and wind can be a challenge.
